The special effect company managed by Ahn Nae Sang, who is the head of a middle-class family, bankrupts on his wife Yoon Yoo Sun’s birthday. Then he drives his old van to pick up his wife from a massage house, his son Jong Suk (played by Lee Jong Suk) from a hockey contest, and his daughter Soo Jung (Played by Crystal) who returns to Korea from the USA, and look for a place to hide.
After he learned that his uncle who lived in “Five Village” had passed away, he has to work as a servant at his wife’s two brothers Yoon Kye Sang and Yoon Ji Suk (played by Suh Ji Suk)’s home.
Kye Sang is preparing to go to serve as a doctor in Rwanda 6 month later after he worked in the university hospital, and his younger brother Ji Suk has hot temper making him always fight with others.
Living next door are two ladies Ji Won (played by Kim Ji Won) and Ha Sun (played by Park Ha Sun). Ji Won is a prematurely developed young lady who inherited he parents’ house. Ha Sun works to delivers Jajang noodles and is not a timid person.
Young Wook (played by Go Young Wook) is preparing for the national examination of the 9th-level public service personnel, and he saved Ha Sun’s life. Ha Sun sincerely socializes with Young Wook because of her being considerate and not wanting to have the sense of guilt.
Nae Sang’s family moves in. At the same time, Ha Sun’s junior colleague Jin Hee (played by Baek Jin Hee) and the original-language teacher Julien (played by Julien Kang) also move into Ji Won’s house.
In order to run away from those creditors chasing behind, Nae Sang and Yoo Sun accidentally find the secret tunnel (used in the 6.25 War) connecting between Kye Sang’s home and Ji Won’s home.
